Since 2010, Prysmian Group has been supplying and installing OPGW all around South Africa thanks to the National Contract signed with Eskom. Leveraging our team of site supervisors and project manager we also provide this service to any other Southern African country.

At low and medium voltages, Prysmian's comprehensive range of building wires and power cables is available through a first class network of wholesalers and distributors.
At higher voltages, Prysmian offers an installation service via its Energy Network Solutions business unit. We also distribute the Pry-Cam, an outstanding integrated portable instrument to measure partial discharge in any kind of medium and high voltage electrical systems and components such as transformers, electrical machines, cables, GIS, etc. The system allows to perform accurate diagnostic measurements and continuous monitoring. It can be used to prevent failures (and their related costs) by assessing the parts under testing without switching them off.
From its position within the Global Prysmian Group, Prysmian South Africa can also offer a comprehensive range of industrial cables for such applications as: mining, cranes, wind turbines and rail applications.
